Dubai was on the menu!! My first time and in summer time so 43 degrees hot.
I was asked to familiarisize the new ASD2312 tugs “Mihaiz” and “Al Wasl 3”.
The crew was very happy with the new tugs and was happy to show them around. On the last day we did some towing jobs aswel.
A thirth new simular tug was deliverd in Dubai but to another company, DryDocks World. They were in need of familiarisation aswel so ’two birds in one stone’ so to say.
Lucky for me there was also some time for sideseeing. The local manager drove me to Damen Sarjah shipyard to show me around.
This was a hot but very nice job to do.
